Getting Started
Using easyPDF SDK
- Make sure that the host application
is installed in the same machine as easyPDF SDK
BCL easyPDF SDK is a PDF printer driver technology,
so it requires the host application that can view and print
your documents to be installed in the same machine as easyPDF
SDK. For example, to convert Excel and Word documents to PDF,
you have to have both Microsoft Word and Excel installed.

Extension
My Trial Software has expired. Can I get an extension?
Yes, you can. Please do these following steps:
- First, run the License Manager (in Start > Programs > BCL
easyPDF SDK 5 > Product Activation).
- Click on "Phone/Email License" (the yellow pad-lock
icon on the top) and write down your computers' Installation
ID.
- Then, contact us at info@bcltechnologies.com and
include the Installation ID in the email. We will issue you
an Unlocking Key that will give you 30 more days to try easyPDF
SDK.
Product Activation
Activating your license via the Internet
I have purchased easyPDF SDK and got a License
Number. How do I activate my copy?
- Run the "Activate easyPDF SDK" program (in Start > Programs > BCL
easyPDF SDK 5 > Product Activation).
- Then select "Internet Activate", enter your License
Number, and click "Activate" button (make
sure you have an active internet connection).
I have purchased easyPDF SDK and got an Unlocking
Key. How do I activate my copy?
- Run the "License Manager" program (in Start > Programs > BCL
easyPDF SDK 5 > Product Activation).
- Then select "Phone/EMail License", enter your Unlocking
Key, and click "Install License" button.
Activating your license without the Internet
If you are behind a firewall that doesn't allow Internet Activation, follow these following steps:
- Run the License Manager (in Start > Programs > BCL
easyPDF SDK 5 > Product Activation). Then click on "Phone/Email
License" (the yellow pad-lock icon on the top).
- Write down the Installation ID
- If you have access to the Internet, go
to http://www.internetactivation.com/ and
enter your License Number and
your Installation ID in the corresponding
text fields, click on the agreement checkbox, and then click "Activate".
It will gives you an Unlocking Key.
If you don't have internet access, send us
your Installation ID via email
at store@bcltechnologies.com and
we will issue you an Unlocking Key.
- Go back to the License Manager program and enter the Unlocking
Key in the provided text field to activate your copy.
Deactivating
Your License via the Internet
How do I Internet De-activate easyPDF SDK from a computer
and store the license for future use?
- On the licensed computer, run the "License Manager " program
(in Start > Programs > BCL easyPDF SDK 5 > Product
Activation).
- Then click on the "Internet De-Activate" option,
and click on the "De-Activate" button (make
sure you have an active internet connection). Your license
will be automatically returned to the activation server which
you can use to re-activate easyPDF SDK in the future (on the
same or a different machine). See Activating
Your License.
I tried to Internet De-Activate my license but for
some reason it didn't work. What should I do?
If you are having problem De-Activating your easyPDF SDK from
a computer, you have to manually "Remove License" from
your computer and email us the PROOF OF REMOVAL CODE. These
are the steps:
- On the licensed computer, run the "License Manager " program
(in Start > Programs > BCL easyPDF SDK 5 > Product
Activation).
- Then select on the "Remove License " option and
click on the "Remove License" button and immediately WRITE
DOWN THE PROOF OF REMOVAL CODE (be aware that you
may not be able to re-activate easyPDF SDK on the same machine
until you do step 3. If you've reach the maximum number of
activation, you may not be able to activate other machines
either until you do step 3).
- Send us the PROOF OF REMOVAL CODE (via this support
form or contact your account manager) and we'll reset
your activation. Once it's done, you'll be able to re-activate
easyPDF SDK in the same or a different machine.
Deactivating your license without the Internet
If you are behind a firewall that doesn't allow Internet De-activation, you have to email us the PROOF OF REMOVAL CODE. These
are the steps:
- On the licensed computer, run the "License Manager " program
(in Start > Programs > BCL easyPDF SDK 5 > Product
Activation).
- Then select on the "Remove License " option and
click on the "Remove License" button and immediately WRITE
DOWN THE PROOF OF REMOVAL CODE
- Send us the PROOF OF REMOVAL CODE (via this support
form or contact your account manager) as a proof that
you've removed easyPDF SDK license from your computer.
Moving
Your License to a Different Computer
How do I move my license to a different computer?
- On the licensed computer, run the "License Manager " program
(in Start > Programs > BCL easyPDF SDK 5 > Product
Activation). Then click on the "Internet De-Activate" option
, and click on the "De-Activate" button.
- On the new computer (make sure easyPDF SDK is also installed
there), run the "Activate easyPDF SDK" program (in
Start > Programs > BCL easyPDF SDK 5 > Product Activation).
Then select "Internet Activate" , enter your License
Number, and click "Activate" button.
How to *manually* move my license to a different computer?
You will need a floppy disk or a USB flash drive
- On the licensed computer, run the "License Manager " program
(in Start > Programs > BCL easyPDF SDK 5 > Product
Activation).
- Then click on the "Manually Move License" option
and follow the on screen instruction.
